Tuesday, April 2, 2024
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Activity Room

Library staff facilitate a discussion of a thought-provoking article.

The Renaissance fairs we know and (in some cases) love are as uniquely American as everything else the California dreamers have given the world over the past century. Journey back to "ye olde 1960s" as we discuss "The Surprisingly Radical Roots of the Renaissance Fair" from the September 2023 issue of Smithsonian magazine.

Find out what happened when the Middle Ages met the Age of Aquarius. With cameo appearances by Carl Reiner, Harrison Ford, The Byrds, and many more.
