Chicago’s own bestselling children’s author Blue Balliett, author of such favorites as Chasing Vermeer and The Wright 3, will visit the Library on Thursday, March 7 at 7:00pm to celebrate the publication of her latest book Hold Fast. Set in Chicago, it is the story of a girl who falls into Chicago's shelter system.
Registration is required, and this event is recommended for adults and children in grades 3 thru 8. Books will be available for purchase and autographing.
