We're celebrating 50 years of Bookmobile service to every corner of Skokie — and the back-to-school season!
Visit the Bookmobile and join in fun activities for all ages on Sunday, September 9 from 2:00 to 4:30pm on the east side of the Library.
The centerpiece of the afternoon's festivities will be a performance by legendary singer
Ella Jenkins at 3:00pm. The Children's Chorus of the Music Institute of Chicago and Skokie school teachers will add to the fun, and the Berenstain Bears Kids will greet children. If it rains, the concert will be moved indoors.
