Join us on Saturday, June 11 at 2:00pm as we host this exciting Illinois Humanities Council program that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Freedom Rides. The event will feature performance pieces by Neighborhood Writing Alliance, Congo Square Theatre, and Young Chicago Authors. Afro-soul singer Ugochi and local singers and songwriters Ami Saraiya and Anna Soltys will also perform traditional and contemporary freedom songs.
