Don’t miss Sarah Weeks, well-known author of more than fifty books for children and young adults. She visits the Library on Thursday, October 20 at 7:00pm. Her newest book Pie revolves around 10-year-old Alice and the chaos that ensues when Alice’s favorite aunt leaves her secret piecrust recipe to a cat, who now belongs to Alice. Her book Oggie Cooder was voted the favorite book of Skokie school children last spring.
