Finding Illinois Documents
at Skokie Public Library and on the Web
The Illinois Documents Collection is located adjacent to the Reference collection on the south end of the second floor. It is organized into three areas: publications organized by subject in Dewey Decimal order, annual reports arranged by issuing agency, and periodicals filed by title. The collection includes books, pamphlets, periodicals, maps, microforms, CDs, DVDs, and video recordings. All items appear in the Library’s catalog and show the location, “Adult Illinois Document.” Most materials may be checked out and are available for interlibrary loan.
