Nearly six hundred Skokie middle school students had the opportunity to hear and visit with Ben Mikaelsen, young adult author of many popular books including Touching Spirit Bear and Petey. Ben shared his life experiences and stories about his 700-pound bear companion, "Buffy," during his day-long visit to Skokie Public Library. Take a look!
