Book Reviews by Teens
UNDER the COVER: Book Reviews by Teens is a partnership between Skokie Public Library and local junior high schools. Each issue features book reviews written by students who have been selected by their teachers to read and write about new books for young readers. Many of the titles were in their "advance reading copy" stage, which means that they were not yet published, at the time when the student read and wrote about the book. By the time the UNDER the COVER newsletter is released in print and on the Web, most of the books have reached publication and are on the shelves at Skokie Public Library.
