Procedure for Exhibiting Art at Skokie Public Library
Skokie Public Library prides itself on exhibiting art of various media as well as exhibits of work from different cultures. Two locations are available, the foyer of the Mary Radmacher Room, ideal for smaller photographs and prints, and the East Lobby along with the landing of the second floor, suitable for larger scale pieces. Typically two different shows are on display at any given time. Many more requests are made than can be accommodated; therefore, artists should not expect that applications to exhibit will be accepted.
In order to be considered, interested parties must submit a letter to the Programs Manager including the following information:
- Description of work
- Size of work/frames
- References/other shows in which the artist has exhibited
- A minimum of ten photographs of the work (photographs will not be returned)
- Phone number, address, and email address
Please direct application letters or email messages to the following address.
