Topics such as art, history, science, music, and other subjects will be discussed throughout the year, reviewing the latest exhibits, operas, and more.

Lyric Opera Lecture: Tristan und Isolde

A lecturer from the Lyric Opera of Chicago will share information about Tristan und Isolde. The lecture will cover the historical time, the composer, the story of the opera, and musical highlights. Registration is requested but not required. Sign up online or call 847.673.3733. Walk-ins welcome.

Demystifying Seed Starting

Join gardener Michelle Titterton for a session on how to grow herbs, vegetables, and flowers from seed. This class will focus on simple techniques including which materials and seeds to purchase and which ones to avoid.
