Catalog Search

Find books and audiobooks, DVDs and videos, music, CD-ROMs, and more. The catalog lists the authors, titles, and subjects of Skokie Public Library’s collection of materials, and its
View My Library Account feature can help you keep track of what you have checked out or have placed on reserve. You can also renew or reserve items there. The catalog is available anywhere there is an internet connection.

PowerSearch

Skokie Public Library’s streamlined search option called PowerSearch is a special search engine which searches for books, articles from magazines and newspapers, and specially selected websites all at once with a single, easy to use interface. Use PowerSearch when you’re looking for information on a topic and would like to find materials from a variety of sources, from books to articles to reference materials. PowerSearch is available for in-Library use, and from outside of the Library when you authenticate with your Skokie Public Library card number.

Website Search

The website search engine will search the names and descriptions of sites that our Library site links to as well as all of the librarian-authored content contained within our site. The website search is available anywhere there is an internet connection.
