Movie Nights
Teens can enjoy a movie with other teens in the Petty Auditorium of Skokie Public Library. Movies shown on Friday movie nights are specially selected for teen audiences, but adults are welcome to attend. And be sure to take a look at a list of teen flicks or view a list of books made into movies! For movie reviews written by teens, visit the Teen Ink site.

Star Trek

Based on the Star Trek franchise, this movie goes back to the beginning and brings together the main characters from the original television series. The crew confronts a tremendous threat from revengeful Romulan Captain Nero. A “must see” for Star Trek fans – old and new. Starring Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Back at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry and Professor Dumbledore delve into the past so they can learn more about Tom Riddle/Lord Voldemort. Harry also enrolls in an advanced potions class, and finds an old textbook with mysteriously informative notes written by a student calling himself the Half-Blood Prince. This is the sixth film based on the Harry Potter series. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and Alan Rickman.
