Celebrate Week of the Young Child

Come to the Kids Room every day or when your schedule allows for Week of the Young Child: Monday, April 8, through Friday, April 12. Each day, we're featuring different hands-on projects:

For kids aged 0-8 with an adult. Drop in anytime. Just bring your imagination!

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) established Week of the Young Child in 1971 in recognition that the early childhood years lay the foundation for children's success in school and life. Family members are young children’s first and most important teachers. There is so much that children learn as they make music, grow and taste new foods, build together, create art, and celebrate with their families during this week.

Let's play, explore, and grow together! Questions? Contact Gudrun Priemer or Laura Partington.
