This event is part of the AREV Film Series, a celebration of Armenian cinema, culture, and storytelling. Showcasing a diverse range of films—from powerful dramas and gripping documentaries to bold experimental shorts—the series highlights the voices of Armenian filmmakers from across the globe.
The word AREV means sun or light, and we will be shining a light on the rich history of Armenia, the resilience of its diaspora, and contemporary social issues. Each film reflects the complexity and beauty of Armenian identity.
With its commitment to artistic excellence and cultural preservation, the AREV Film Series is not only a cinematic experience—it’s a bridge between generations, communities, and cultures. Additional events in the series are scheduled for Northbrook and Evanston.
