Families and individuals who need a quiet, uncrowded environment are invited to use the library before we open. Explore the Kids Room, Teen Room, Studio, and materials on the first floor.

Celebrate the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr and this National Day of Service by participating in a project to benefit a local community organization.

Pick up a lantern, find a cozy spot, and settle in for a step back in time. Lights will be dimmed, a video projected onto a wall, and a chapter read aloud from a historical fiction novel.

Children and their grown-ups participate together in this storytime with books, music, and more.

An English/Urdu-speaking resource navigator with Hamdard Health Alliance will be available for people to drop in to get assistance in determining their eligibility for government benefits and applying for services as appropriate.  

This drop-in inclusive playgroup is for children younger than six who receive or are considering therapy services. Children play while families meet and find support.

Siblings are welcome. Free tickets will be given to those who attend.

Enjoy books, rhymes, and songs together. For children age 3-6 with an adult. Space is limited. Tickets will be distributed to those present starting at 1 pm.

Design your own video game using Scratch, an online block-based coding system. Create a catch game with falling objects, characters, and a custom background as you level up your coding skills.

Hye-won is studying at a university in Seoul but fails an important exam and is struggling with city life. She returns to her rural home to decide her next steps. 

This month we'll be discussing The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett. 

Enjoy this time to bond with your baby and meet other caregivers. We will introduce babies to the joys of movement, books, and song, and begin to build their early learning skills. Come prepared to sit with your baby on your lap.

Soak up feel-good vibes with this hilarious family-friendly animated movie based on the popular TV series. 

Enjoy fun stories, rhymes, and songs to build a love of books and reading.

For toddlers age 12-23 months with an adult. Space is limited. Tickets will be distributed to those present starting at 10 am.

Talk with other members of the community. Tutors from Niles Township Schools' ELL Parent Center will help with conversations and answer questions.
