Event Details
Enjoy music and stories from the two worlds of classical music and specifically Jewish music. The program includes duets by well-loved composers like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and a sprinkling of nostalgic, fun, and meaningful Klezmer and other Jewish duets.
Josephine Stockwell (viola) and Aviva Certok (violin) celebrate how multifaceted we all are. Both have been studying classical music since they were very young and this journey has shaped how they interact with themselves, and the world, in important ways. As adults, they also embraced learning more about Judaism and making Jewish living a focal point of who they are. They are living immersed in both worlds and look forward to sharing that experience.
Free tickets will be given to those present starting at 2:30 pm.
