Event Details
Explore eco-friendly ways to prepare your yard or garden for the winter. We'll discuss winter lawn care considerations such as whether you should rake your leaves and what you can plant now to look forward to in the spring. Create and take home a seed ball to start fostering your native plants.
Part presentation, part discussion, and part hands-on activity, the Climate Optimism in Action series gives you the opportunity to learn and explore how to engage with the environment in a positive way. Each session will be action-based, exploring a seasonal topic that gives you information and steps to becoming a climate optimist. Discussions will be led by Angela Stenberg of The Talking Farm.
Teen participants will earn service hours. Fill out this contact form to be added to our list of interested teen volunteers and be one of the first to know about volunteer opportunities.
