Event Details
On March 17, the Skokie Village Board of Trustees adopted a new Village seal, which replaced the previous seal design used since the 1940s. The current Village flag contains the same imagery as the old Village seal design and needs to be updated.
Get an overview of flag design and best practices, along with context and history about the Village to inspire you. Then, create your own flag design to submit for consideration as the next Skokie flag. You'll be able to ask questions of the experts, as we'll be joined by a vexillologist and members of the Skokie Historical Society and Skokie Heritage Museum.
