The Penguin Lessons
In 1976, Tom Michell was an indifferent English teacher at St. George's College, a private boys’ school in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While on a short break in Uruguay, he rescued an oil-soaked penguin to impress a woman. The orphaned bird refused to leave his side, so Michell smuggled it back to St. George's where Juan Salvador the penguin had a surprisingly positive impact on the entire school community.
Based on Michell’s memoir. Starring Steve Coogan, Vivian El Jaber, and Jonathan Pryce.
