In this culinary demonstration, cookbook author Emily Paster will explain the long and colorful history of preserving fruits and vegetables in the Jewish kitchen. Emily will also demonstrate how to use water-bath canning for vegetable pickles and fruit spreads so they are shelf-stable using one of the recipes from her book, The Joys of Jewish Preserving.
