Program Description

Event Details

This month we will be discussing a timely comedic satire: Lula Dean's Little Library of Banned Books by Kristen Miller. This incisive, witty, and satirical novel about a small Southern town includes a pitched battle over banned books and a little lending library that changes everything.

With the rise in attempts to ban books in libraries, schools, and bookstores around the country, we will talk abut censorship and the freedom to read.

Presented in partnership with Morton Grove Public Library.
