What is the story behind the Panama Canal?

We're discussing Cristina Henríquez's richly detailed, cinematic, and powerful novel, The Great Divide, about the construction of the Panama Canal. The book shines a light on the unsung people who lived, loved, and labored there.

Presented in partnership with Morton Grove Public Library.

Find The Great Divide by Cristina Henríquez in the library catalog.
