Event Details
Families can drop in as Chicago-based nonprofit organization Akin for Action leads activities building toys for animals that are living in the animal shelter. Children younger than eight must be accompanied by an adult.
Kids in grade 3-6 who are interested in volunteering to act as helpers to younger children in the program should contact atoledo@skokielibrary.info for sign up information. Volunteers will have a 30-minute training before the event starts.

We often take pictures and videos at our events. By attending a library program, participants consent to being photographed or recorded. These images and recordings may be used for promotional purposes both in print and online, including social media channels.
