We Bought a Zoo
Benjamin Mee, recently widowed with two children—14-year-old Dylan and 7-year-old Rosie—thinks that starting over will do them all good, especially after Dylan gets expelled from school. While looking to relocate, they find a dilapidated old house that happens to come with a zoo that needs saving. There, they meet zookeeper Kelly Foster and her small, dedicated staff, who want to see it reopened. Despite the huge financial commitment and having no experience, Benjamin takes on the task with the help of his family.
Loosely inspired by a true story, this is a healing adventure about second chances. Starring Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson, Thomas Haden Church, Patrick Fugit, and Elle Fanning. Directed by Cameron Crowe.
