Standing Above the Clouds

From filmmaker Jalena Keane-Lee, this documentary shows the grassroots movement led by women from three Native Hawaiian families to stop a massive telescope from being built on the sacred mountain, Mauna Kea. It explores themes of intergenerational healing, cultural preservation, community activism, environmental impact, and the emotional toll on those involved.

After watching the film together, share your questions and comments in a discussion with Chris and Sharon.
