Event Details
“Classical music” can be a contested term. From early monks and the first system of notation to the graphic scores of John Cage, this term encompasses a wide range of approaches, emotional content, and cultural appeal. We will look at the history, evolution, and lasting relevance of classical music in the broadest sense.
Each Music Monday event will include a presentation on a theme related to music history, followed by discussion.
