Event Details
Marlene and Company will visit the legends and the lives of Black performers who created and popularized genres like jazz, blues, rock ‘n’ roll, and hip hop. These artists used their music to promote social justice, empowerment, and freedom, especially during the civil rights movement. The event will include an educational component and live music.
