Event Details
In recognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, two daughters of survivors--Marilyn Klein and Karen Perl--will share stories of Cecelia Klein and Helen Perl, their mothers. They were first cousins from Romania who survived Auschwitz. These powerful narratives illuminate the profound impact of Holocaust trauma on survivors and their families, while also reflecting remarkable resilience and hope.
This event will be moderated by Rabbi Jeffrey Weill of Ezra-Habonim, the Niles Township Jewish Congregation, and will include time for questions.
Presented in partnership with CJE SeniorLife’s Holocaust Community Services.
