Purpose of Meeting
The Village of Skokie is proud to announce the launch of Skokie Community Solar—a new program that brings the environmental and economic benefits of solar power to residents and small businesses, without the need for rooftop panels or upfront costs.
Skokie Community Solar allows ComEd customers—including renters, homeowners and small business owners—to subscribe to a local solar project and receive monthly bill credits worth up to 15 percent of their electricity bill. It can be equivalent to receiving two months of free electricity each year.
