Program Description

Event Details

Fall is a key season for putting the garden to rest while still keeping it alive for the creatures that rely on it. This presentation provides information on how to support bees, butterflies, and other insects that overwinter in stems and leaf litter, as well as migrating birds that depend on your garden’s seeds and shelter. We’ll also cover early spring care—how and when to “wake up” the garden while preserving vital habitat. With both practical tips and ecological insights, you’ll learn how to tend your space in a way that supports life all year round.

This event will be recorded and will be accessible on our YouTube events channel the following week.
