Explore how to create digital artwork and learn the basics of Procreate, an app that offers tools for painting, sketching, designing, and animating.

It's a new year full of possibility! We'll have all the supplies (and snacks for fuel) to create a vision board for the new year. Collage your way to imagining the best version of the future.

Learn the basics of Glowforge, one of the laser cutters and engravers in the Studio, and design your own greeting card for that special someone in your life. 

Library device and materials will be provided.

Discover your artistic side by designing your own comic book character. In this workshop you will use digital tools or hand draw your own original comic book character.

For kids PreK-grade 5. Kids younger than eight must be accompanied by an adult.

Join Melissa Leandro, one of the artists whose work is displayed in the library, in a workshop dedicated to hand-sewing appliqué.

Basic hand-sewing skills required. Materials will be provided. 

Shrink your world to fit in your hands. Design a small-scale room, diorama, or repurposed dollhouse that reflects something personal: who you are, who you were, or who you might become. 

Get creative and make your own design using Gelli Plates to print on fabric. 

Bring your own piece of clothing or fabric accessory to print on. 

Celebrate love in February by making beaded heart earrings. Using a needle and thread, we'll make cascading fringe heart earrings with traditional bead-weaving techniques.

Angela Stenberg from The Talking Farm will share Information about seed starting, followed by a planting activity. All supplies will be provided.

Drop-in event for kids PreK-grade 5. Kids younger than eight must be accompanied by an adult. Limited to 15 kids at a time. 

Learn the basics of the sewing machine and make a pencil pouch. Supplies will be provided. No experience necessary. 

It's tiny art night! Bring your biggest creativity for the tiniest canvases. 

Usher in springtime with bright tie-dye, just in time for Holi, the Festival of Colors. We will provide white cotton t-shirts for dyeing. For grades 6-12. 

As we prepare for spring cleaning, let’s chat about some environmentally friendly alternatives to household cleaning products that you can try at home. We'll also make soap to take home or share with others.

Let's listen to music and try a craft. For kids in grade 3-6 with a favorite adult.

In this supportive, hands-on workshop, you can get help to finish your sewing project or troubleshoot any challenges along the way.
