For this cookie decorating spectacular, we'll provide blank cookies, icing, and decorating supplies. You provide the creativity! We may not be able to accommodate dietary restrictions.

Pick up a lantern, find a cozy spot, and settle in with a soothing outdoor-themed video projected onto a wall. Lights will be dimmed, and a chapter will be read aloud from an adventure novel.

An English/Urdu-speaking resource navigator with Hamdard Health Alliance will be available for people to drop in to get assistance in determining their eligibility for government benefits and applying for services as appropriate.  

Chat with other parents and caregivers while your child socializes and explores hands-on activities.

The Wild Robot

Talk with members of the community. Tutors from Niles Township Schools' ELL Parent Center will help with conversations and answer questions. Tickets will be provided to all who attend.

Need help learning to use resources in the library's makerspace? Library staff can assist for brief drop-in sessions to help you learn to use one of the machines or specific software, or provide help with a specific project. 

A business counselor from the Illinois Small Business Development Center at Oakton College can assist new and existing businesses with issues related to financing, marketing, and business plans.

If you enjoy reading graphic novels or creating your own comics, explore titles from the library for inspiration and then get to work creating your own!

Kids in grade 3-5 attend independently.

Want to chat and do some scrapbooking with other grown-ups who have or care for kids? This club provides an opportunity for parents, grandparents, nannies, and others who take care of kids to talk and participate in a fun craft.

Come enjoy stories and songs in Spanish and English. Tickets will be distributed to those present starting at 10 am. For families with kids age six and younger.

Jackie Jasperson leads a live yoga class and shares information about yoga practice. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat or towel.
