Drop-in event for pre-K-grade 5. Kids younger than eight must be accompanied by an adult. Limited to 15 kids at a time. 

In a laid-back hour of needle-felted crafting, create a cute creature out of wool or working on an existing project. Kids in grade 3-5 attend independently.

Discover the basics of 3D design in this introductory class using Tinkercad, free and user-friendly software for creating 3D prints.

Learn about the history of piñatas and make and fill your own mini piñata. Supplies will be provided.

Enjoy a fun craft designed especially for kids in grade K-2. 

Want to chat and do a diamond art craft with other grown-ups who have or care for kids? This club provides an opportunity for parents, grandparents, nannies, and others who care for kids to talk and participate in a fun craft.

Explore a new artist and create a project inspired by their work. We'll learn about Victoria Villasana, a Mexican textile-artist known for her use of yarn and embroidery techniques.

Learn how to use free online software Photopea to create a digital invitation that can also be printed. We'll use a Halloween party as an example for looking at graphics, fonts, and navigating the platform. 

Express your artistic side and beautify your library by drawing with chalk markers on the windows in the South Courtyard.

For adults and teens. Chalk will be provided.

As part of our special Moana Monday, families can try some movie-inspired crafts between our 3 pm showing of Moana and our 6 pm showing of Moana 2.

This introductory design class will focus on the Glowforge laser cutter and engraver, one of the machines available in the Studio. You will learn the basics of the Glowforge design software and the tips and tricks to make projects stand out.

Learn about Diwali while decorating your own candle. We'll provide the supplies to decorate taper candles by "painting" them with melted wax. 

Bring new creations to life! Get ready to take apart old plushies and sew or glue together a custom creature of your very own. Supplies will be provided.
