Program Description

Event Details

Monarch butterflies play an important role as pollinators, and their populations are in trouble. You can learn about them and teach others, too.

Tend our native garden patch, observe monarch eggs and caterpillars, and talk with other library patrons about your observations and how we can all support monarchs. Data will be submitted to the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project

All participants receive service hours as part of Teen Summer Service. Fill out this contact form to be added to our list of interested teen volunteers and be one of the first to know about volunteer opportunities.

Email the teen team to learn more or to express an interest in volunteering. For grade 6-12.
