Learn the basics of machine and hand embroidery with our maker in residence. This class will explore the basics of the embroidery machine. You can also design a contribution for our community project. Materials will be provided. 

Learn about the process of applying for scholarships from an expert, and get started with your search.  

We will introduce babies to the joys of movement, books, and song, and begin to build their early learning skills. Enjoy this time to bond with your baby and meet other caregivers. Come prepared to sit with your baby on your lap.

Representatives from the Village of Skokie will share information, answer your questions, and help you become more familiar with various services and programs.

Need help learning to use resources in the library's makerspace? Library staff can assist for brief drop-in sessions to help you learn to use one of the machines or specific software, or provide help with a specific project. 

Meet new people in a supportive environment and watch your circle of friends grow. Trained peer volunteers host activities to help you get to know others.

Need someone to look over your job application materials? Experienced HR and talent professionals will be on-site for short, drop-in sessions offering reviews and answering questions.
