With finals quickly approaching for high school and college students, learn about how to organize your notes for tests, plus tips and tricks for studying. We'll go over some science-backed ways to approach your learning.

Menopause is a natural transition, but that doesn’t mean you have to suffer through it. Kristin Dold Bennett, DO, FACOG, leads a practical, evidence-based conversation about perimenopause and menopause.

Kids in preK-grade 5 and their caregivers who are part of an LGBTQ+ family are invited to join our Rainbow Family Club. We'll hang out, chat, have snacks, and do activities. LGBTQ+ kids are also welcome to bring friends who are allies. 

This two-part series invites you to practice ways to have respectful conversation across differences, facilitated by library staff using the same approaches we use every day at the library.

Have you ever wanted to be part of a library book discussion group, but you worried that your English language skills were not strong enough?

Enjoy stories and songs in Urdu and English. Tickets will be distributed to those present starting at 9:30 am. For families with kids age six and younger.

Meet others and learn about current research, assistive devices, and community resources for people who have been diagnosed with an eye condition or have a family member who has vision impairment.

Kids age 3-8 and their grown-ups experience a story, songs, rhymes, and a game while working on important preschool skills like letter sounds and social-emotional learning.

This event is also being held Wednesday, May 20 at 1:30 pm.

Agent of Happiness

Practice speaking English with other members of the community. Volunteer tutors will help with conversations and answer questions. 

Free tickets will be given to those who attend.

Need help learning to use resources in the library's makerspace? Staff can help during brief drop-in sessions as you learn to use one of the machines or specific software, or they can provide help with a specific project. 

Monthly meetings of the library's Board of Trustees are are open to the public.
