Drop-in event for kids PreK-grade 5. Kids younger than eight must be accompanied by an adult. Limited to 15 kids at a time. 

Pick up a lantern, seek a spot of refuge, and brace for a spooky video projected onto a wall. Lights will be dimmed and a chapter will be read aloud from a scary novel. Then, kick back, relax--if you dare, and read a book of your choice.

Although everyone is talking about AI, few understand how to harness its true potential both responsibly and profitably.

Families can drop in as Chicago-based nonprofit organization Akin for Action leads activities building toys for animals that are living in the animal shelter. Children younger than eight must be accompanied by an adult. 

Her Pakistani parents work long hours and her American teachers don’t understand her culture, but Sofia is a girl determined to fit in.

Kids PreK through grade 5 and caregivers who are part of an LGBTQ+ family are invited to join our Rainbow Family Club. We'll hang out, chat, have snacks, and do activities. LGBTQ+ youth are also welcome to bring friends who are allies.
